Women in business and the creative industries are central to Caribbean economies yet many lack access to the legal knowledge needed to protect their work and negotiate on equal footing.

WHAT THE PROGRAM OFFERS:


An interactive (3) three day workshop that where the girls and women will leave with the practical skills and tools to:

  • Register and protect their businesses with confidence

  • Read, understand, and negotiate contracts without relying on others to interpret the fine print

  • Identify and protect their intellectual property rights, knowing what they own and how to defend it

THE ANTICIPATED IMPACT:


Every participant receives a legal literacy toolkit for ongoing reference because the learning doesn’t stop when the workshop ends.

The goal is that each participant will gain confidence in navigating contracts or compliances, knowing their rights, owning their work, and having the legal language to advocate for themselves at every stage of growth.
