ISLAND GIRLS ROCK VIRTUAL ART GALLERY

Caribbean girls and women have always created extraordinary art. What they have not always had is a platform that reflects the value, talent, and stories behind their work.

The Island Girls Rock Virtual Art Gallery was created to change that. As a permanent digital space, it showcases the creativity of Caribbean women and girls, making their artwork accessible to audiences and collectors around the world. By removing geographical barriers, we are creating new opportunities for visibility, connection, and support for Caribbean artists.

Our debut exhibition, Caribbean Girlhood, celebrated the richness of growing up Caribbean through diverse artistic expressions that explored identity, culture, memory, resilience, and joy. Featuring talented artists from across the region, the exhibition invited visitors to experience Caribbean girlhood in all its colour, complexity, and beauty.

While our inaugural virtual exhibition has now come to a close, this is only the beginning. We are deeply grateful to every artist, visitor, collector, and supporter who helped make our first exhibition a success.

Stay connected as we prepare for our next exhibition!

We look forward to announcing our next open call for artists and welcoming you back to discover, celebrate, and support the incredible talent of Caribbean women and girls.
